Cost savings through its use

High efficiency with additives
A lower water/cement ratio than with common cements, easily controllable workability periods and high strengths 5 hours after workability is lost.
Ultraval and Ultraval SR are powerful activators of pozzolans, fly ash, slag and silica fume, achieving their complete activation within a few days (compared to the 90 days of other cements).

Shotcrete
→Constant workability time, controlled at will.
→Viscous concrete with less rebound and fewer voids.
→Strengths above 20 MPa at 5 hours.
→Less dependence on applicator skill and up to 40% less accelerator.

Tunnel lining
→Constant workability, controlled at will, with a very low water/cement ratio.
→Over 50 MPa in less than 5 hours from mixing.
→Productivity is tripled (mould-carriage movements in 8 hours instead of 24).

Segments for tunnel boring machines (TBM)
Complete production reliability even in cold conditions, the best technical solution at the most competitive price and significant savings during the production and placement of the segments.

Micropiles, rock bolts and anchors
Placement by grout injection with Ultraval or Ultraval SR can be brought into service within a few hours. Grouts with Microval TP-12 are also used.

Critical temperature differences
Our cements are especially suited to adverse weather and have been tested with exceptional results down to -25 °C.

Microcement injections
With Ultraval and Ultraval SR, uninterrupted blasting and injection sequences are achieved, highly suitable for low temperatures. With accelerators, they can seal cracks immediately. Objectives: reducing permeability, improving mechanical properties, filling cavities and stabilisation.
